Album Info:Here are the back cover and a one-page article entitled "Grif Teller: PRR Calendar Artist." Both were published originally in the January 1953 issue of "Pennsy" magazine. No author is specified. "Mr. Teller, art consultant for the Osborne Company, Clifton, N.J., maker of advertising calendars, has made paintings for 22 of the Railroad's 29 calendars distributed since 1925." (Page 1)

Description:  Here is the back cover associated with a one-page article entitled "Grif Teller: PRR Calendar Artist." It was published originally on the January 1953 issue of "Pennsy" magazine. Implied Caption: "Calendar scene for 1953 shows Pennsylvania Railroad trains on main line near Steubenville, Ohio." The painting proper is called "Crossroads Of Commerce." Depicted in the center (F to R) are engine #5898 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5898 was constructed in March of 1951. Also depicted (R to L) are engine #2012 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All are BF-16's built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and rated at 1,600 horsepower each. #2012 was built in February of 1952 and retired in January of 1967.
