Description:  Scampering up the cab ladder is a crew member for Candadian Pacific 4-6-4 Hudson #2810. With a full head of steam and rolling black smoke, it's ready for another turn of service. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in November of 1930, the loco served well for nearly 28 years before meeting up with the scrapper's torch in April of 1958. Specs - class H1b, 75" drivers, 22x30" cylinders, engine wt 351,200 lb, tractive effort of 45,254. This is a Wm E. Paul photo.

It was built by the Montreal Locomtoive Works in November of 1930 and remained in service until April of 1958. It was retired and scrapped then. Specs - class H1b, 75" drivers, 22x30" cylinders, engine wt 351,200 lb, tractive effort of 45,254. No date or location were given for the photo so approximates were used.This is a James Bowie photo
