| Description: |
Various power outside the depot at Grand Forks, ND. BN 3053 went to KCS as its 2956. BN 2352 and 2362 were new to SLSF as 681 and 692 became BNSF 2352 and 2362. The long term leaser 793 was new to Penn Central then Conrail as 7993. After GMTX it later operated for UP as 1936, LLPX as 2318, GMTX as 2180 and latterly as Spirit Rail's SPRX 1974. |

| Description: |
Delivered to Penn Central as GP38-2 7993 in July 1972 becoming Conrail 7993 until lease expiration when this unit was returned to EMD. With a large number of former PC/CR GP38-2s on their hands EMD made these units available for lease, this one becoming EMDX 793 operating in Conrail blue with EMD and GM logos. In 1997 this locomotive was sold to Union Pacific and became UP 1936 then 436 in November 2001 then was retired in May 2003 and sold to Locomotive Leasing Partners becoming LLPX 2318. Today this GP38-2 is part of the GATX Lease pool working as GMTX 2180. |
