Another new face on the Eagandale Line is this former Soo Line GP38-2 now given a new lease on life thanks to ILSX. Glad to see at least one of these babies is still running! She and stablemate 1402 were enjoying a Saturday off south of Lone Oak Road in Eagan when I found them. |

High-nose Geeps are seldom seen in Minnesota. This one I discovered on a train hunt this morning, tucked-away at a grain co-op served by the Twin Cities & Western. I was quite surprised to see this type in service and so nicely maintained. This made the whole trip a great success. |
