Wabsh 2-6-0 Mogul #802 sits amid other Wabash steam on a line in Peru, Indiana, possibly a scrap line as it was sent to the scrapper's torch in June of 1933, less than 7 months from the date of this photo. Although built as compound Moguls, the entire class minus 3 were simplified by 1917. Specs - serial #3238, class F6, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 20.5x28" high pressure cylinders, 32.5x28" low pressure cylinders, engine weight of 149,524 lb, modest tractive effort of 22,715 lb. Forrest Trittenbach photo. The Mogul-type locomotive was built by Baldwin in 1901 as a class F6 with 63" drivers and developing a boiler pressure of 200 psi. A Forrest Trittenbach photo.
