Description:  ATSF 54, business car "Mountainair" brings up the rear of an eastbound pig train, likely the 991. The Mountainair was originally the Laurel Ridge, a private car built by P/S for heirs to U.S. Steel. Santa Fe acquired it about 1962 and rebuilt it to this configuration. Date of photo approximate.

REED at an unknown date, received an Amtrak #800xxx-series number at an unknown date, specifically #800567, to BNSF #8 JOHN S. REED. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide.
