Title:
STRT 783
Description:
A former Reading Company MU stands on one leg of the old Stewartstown wye awaiting restoration back to active service on the Stewartstown Railroad. This car started out as a standard coach in 1925, constructed by Harlan & Hollingsworth as RDG 1163. Rebuilt as an electric MU in 1932, it later reverted back to regular coach status upon purchase by Rail Tours Inc. Note that the old MU headlight still remains intact on the roof.
