Title:
CBQ Diner 190 - "Silver Pheasant"
Description:
Clad in its fluted stainless steel siding, this 1938 Budd built diner car still looks good. Originally it was a 36 seat diner car used in pool service for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy RR. Eventually it was sold off to either the National RR Museum in Green Bay or the Great Lakes Western RR where it did several excursions for the NRM. Finally the diner was sold to Algoma Central in 1998 to become their #506. No idea where it is now though. Anyone know? Unknown photographer took this shot. The date and location are approximations.
