| A work train made a stop here in town at Main Street and allowed the John Deere 490D Excavator time to drop off a few new ties out of the gondolas for an ongoing track project. MNA 4009 started life as MKT 203 August 1968 and became UP 509 on 11-13-89, MNA 509 in late 1992, and MNA 4009 in more recent years. The unit turns 40 years old this August. |
