Built in 1934 by Pennsylvania Railroad this car has unique cast frame produced by the General Steel Casting Company. Originally built for general freight, it found its way to M of W service as it was inherited by Penn Central and later Amtrak. At the museum it continues in its Maintenance-of-way role. |
