Relic from the past  Contributor's Pick!
This old Coaling Tower stands over the CN (GTW) Flint Sub about a mile west of Trowbridge. A silent reminder of a time when Steam Ruled the rails of the Grand Trunk Western. The sidings on both sides of the mainline are used to store coal cars for the Lansing Board of Water and Light power plant, three miles ahead.
