| New long-distance version of Regina is called X55 by SJ, of which 20 units were ordered 2008. The EMU trains has four coaches and is designed for long-distance including a bistro area. The interior is more spacious than the usual Regina railcars, with 2 +2 seating in width in other class (the 3 +2 in the former Regina). The interior design and comfort reminiscent rather of the X2 trains, but compared to them is the element of wood larger and the electronic information systems more developed. Trains have internet and also has its own server board. Via a web portal, the traveler can pay to download movies from the server and see them on their own computer. |
