| This piece of equipment is part of the SES switch exchange system which makes up a train that consists of different specialty work flatcars. This car holds track panels and switch panels. The frames stay in an up position for clearance while the panels are traveling in the train. When the train arrives at a work site, the panels are lowered flat during the work process. Another piece of equipment that's part of the work train, similar to a gantry, hovers over the panel, picks it up and moves it to where it needs to placed to be installed. |
