what has this to do with trains?         
I was told this was a bomb shelter for railroad workers . This was in Kaiserslautern Germany taken in 1972 date is a guess

Brad Waterman General It is an above ground bomb shelter. Sometime during WWII a German engineer proved above ground shelters were cheaper to build than underground. The theory behind the shape is a bomb falling from the sky, or it's blast and fragments would be deflected by the angular shape. 8/28/2020 9:02:50 AM
