Put power  Contributor's Pick!
The Putnam Division was still a going concern in the late 70s, though its days were numbered. Service at the time went as far as an A&P warehouse in, I think, Tuckahoe. The power requirements were not extensive, and this GP 7 was more than up to the task. Seen at the Putnam Division yard in the Bronx, where the Hudson Line follows the Harlem River, and the Put goes north. Note the small Conrail lettering and can opener on the long hood. And how about those PC trailers at left!!
