| Two veteran units await their fate while parked in a small string of stored units (and one snowplow) north of the University Avenue bridge at Northtown. New paint did not ensure the 1720 would roll for the BNSF, its third owner, forever. Thank heavens one of her brethren escaped to the Minnesota Transportation Museum. If only that 45-2 ahead of the 1720 could make such an escape. |
