| UP 5751 & 8099 sit offline in Syracuse on an old grain elevator siding near 4th & Mohawk streets. The new Midwest Farmers Coop elevator loaded its first train several days earlier, and was in the process of another when this picture was taken. The elevator has brought new life to the line that serves OPPDs Nebraska City power plant that has seen no traffic except for storage for almost 10 years. |
