Erie classic  Contributor's Pick!
The Erie used a variety of signals along their route. They are best remembered on the Tier by the semaphores, some of which lasted into the NS era. They also used searchlights, "traffic light" and these tri light clusters, such as this one at Hiawatha Road in Owego, which is watching CP 419 roll west with 25 cars.
