Here is the front cover from a reprint of the November 1956 issue of "Modern Railroads" magazine. Partial Caption: "Photographer Bill Mutschmann snapped this striking color photo to emphasize the stress which the Pennsylvania Railroad places on modern power in its drive to become a new type of pace setter." Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #5796 and a GG-1 electric locomotive whose number is not discernable. #5796 is an EP-22 built by GM-EMD in June of 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. The location is an approximation.
