"Riding The Pennsy's T-1," Page 35, 1943
Here is page four of an eight-page article by Russ Davis entitled "Riding The Pennsy's T-1." It was published originally in "The Mutual Magazine" and republished later in the July 1943 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 35. Shown here is PRR engine #6111, a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during May of 1942 and retired in December of 1953 after just 11 years of revenue service. In this context, it's just coupled onto the eastbound "Juniata" in Pittsburgh. "All ABOARD!"
