Showalter. Here is an original photo by H.N. Proctor. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5650 and #8639. Both were built by the American Locomotive Company. #5650 is an AS-10 built in April of 1950 and rated at 1,000 horsepower. #8639 is an AS-18M built in November of 1957 and rated at 1,800 horsepower. The exact date and the location are not recorded. (2; #2 of 4)
