Mann. Here is a photo by Jay Black that was taken in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on 15 August 1952. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5798 and #5797. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD in June of 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. In this context, this A-A set has just departed the Harrisburg Station with a passenger train bound for Altoona and points West. (Gift from Brad Mann.) |
