Here is the Association of American Railroads' stock photo #4429. Caption On Reverse: "Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train departing from Chicago, drawn by a 6,000 horsepower Diesel-electric locomotive. The piping on the roof is the antenna of the locomotive's train phone." Shown here (R to L) is PRR engine #5900 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All are EP-20's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #5900 was constructed in September of 1945. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded. John S.
