Here is an image of an official photo of (L to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engines #3847, #4745, #4837, and #3768. #3847 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata in April of 1923, rebuilt by Lima with rotary cam poppet valves in 1939, and retired in November of 1953. #4745 is a P-5A(M) (2-C-2) built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in March of 1935, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in August of 1961. #4837 is a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata in July of 1935 and rated at 4,620 horsepower. And #3768 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata in June of 1920, streamlined in 1936, and retired in October of 1953. William E. Burket Collection. |
