Cool shot. Note the antiquated SAL CTC on this line didn't usually have approach indications for signals governing movements onto the single track from sidings -- thus the 2 light home signal here at the diamond.

The highmast is the mainline signal, not the siding. That siding dwarf signal gives only 3 indications. Stop, slow clear to the Columbia sub, and restricting to the Augusta sub. The highmast only does stop and clear, and will not clear until a train ahead has cleared the SE of Ulmer.
