Florida TriRail 801  Contributor's Pick!
Morrison-Knudson F40PHL-2 shoving a mid-day train at the former Seaboard Air Line Hollywood Florida depot. 801 was rebuilt by combining the frame from Conrail GP40 #3230 with the cowls of two Burlington Northern F45s #6630 and #6637. The result really looks like an F45 until you gaze down at those B-B trucks. The UTDC bi-levels were bought to match GO Transit's as the service wasn't expected to last after I-95 improvements were done and they'd be easy to sell to GO. By 1990 this midday train was added. The trains are still running today.
