CSX Q380-09 This is the ill-fated train, that will derail about 2 1/2 hours after this shot was taken, in Painesville OH (It stops at Collinwood for fuel). Several tank cars of ethanol and butane would be allowed to burn overnight, as a propane tank car was cooled by the fire dept. to prevent an explosion. Luckily it was in a fairly remote area, so no civilians were hurt, but a few hundred people were evacuated overnight. The crew of the train, and its power were unharmed. I've been told that the derailment ocurred about 20 cars back from the head end. Picture quality is poor due to the lighting conditions, as it was a dark, rainy day. Q380 almost always sports BNSF power, so if I hear it I always try to get a pic.
