This ICG train had come into Baton Rouge from the south and was parked at the south end of North Baton Rouge Yard, on the south leg of the wye connection with the line to Hammond. The locomotives were IC GP10 8177, Precision GP9 1703 and GM&O GP38 702.

IC GP10 #8177 - Illinois Central
Description:
Originally built by EMD in January of 1956 as IC GP9 9177, it was rebuilt by the IC's own Paducah Kentucky Shops in 1970 and renumbered IC GP10 #9177. It was sold to the Midsouth Rail and renumbered MSRC #1036. No date, location or photographer was given for the photo so approximates were used.
