Title:  BO 2-10-2 #6024 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:  This massive and powerful 2-10-2 locomotive was a solid performer on the Baltimore & Ohio roster for nearly 37 years. Built by Baldwin in October of 1914 as B&O #6024, it was eventually retired and scrapped in June of 1952. Specs - Class S, 58" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine weight of 410,200 lb, impressive tractive effort of 84,400 lb. The photo is from the Howard W. Ameling collection.

Title:  BO 2-10-2 #6010 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:  Built by Baldwin in September of 1914, Baltimore & Ohio 2-10-2 #6010 proved to be a valuable freight mover with its massive tractive force of 84,400 lb. The Santa Fe type 2-10-2 loco lasted in service for nearly 37 years before being retired and scrapped in February of 1951. Specs - Class S, 58" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine weight of 410,200 lb, impressive tractive effort of 84,400 lb. The photo is from the Howard W. Ameling collection.

Title:  BO 2-10-2 #6119 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:  Built by Baldwin in October of 1923, Baltimore & Ohio 2-10-2 #6119 proved to be very useful in hauling long drags of freight cars due to its impressive 84,300 lb of tractive effort. The loco was assigned a new number of B&O 506 but may not have been actually renumbered before it was scrapped in 1958 Specs - S-1 class, 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine wt of 436,510 lb, tractive effort of 84,300 lb. Description:  Built by Lima Locomotive Company in March of 1924 as Baltimore & Ohio 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive #6174, it was much later ib 1956 renumbered B&O #522. The loco lasted for nearly 34 years before being scrapped in 1958. Specs - S-1a class, 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine wt of 434,500 lb, impressive tractive effort of 84,300 lb. This is a Max Miller photo

Description:  This massive 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive was built by the Lima Locomotive Company in June of 1926 originally as B&O #6185. Much later in 1956 it was renumbered B&O 526. The loco lasted unti being retired and scrapped in 1959 after nearly 33 years of service. This may have been the very last photo taken of it as it sat in the dead/scrap line at the Willard Yard.Specs - S-1a class, 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine wt of 436,510 lb, impressive tractive effort of 84,300 lb. Description:  Sitting in the scrap line at the Willard Ohio yard is Baltimore & Ohio 2-10-2 #531. Originally built by Baldwin in march of 1926 as B&O #6200, the massive and powerful Santa Fe type steam locomotive served well. The loco was renumbered in 1956 to B&O #531. With the age of the diesels dawning, this loco like many in its class was retired and scrapped in 1959.Specs - S-1a class, 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine wt of 436,510 lb, impressive tractive effort of 84,300 lb.
