Seen on a chartered train of the Fayette Central Railroad in Dunbar, Pa. Built as a boxcar for New York Central in April 1942. Converted to a transfer caboose by Despatch Shops in 1966. Lot #977. There were 50 cars in the series, numbered 18056 - 18105. The Fayette Central Railroad ceased operations in 2012. |

| Description: |
The weekend tourist train pausing for photos on the Greene Junction Bridge over the Youghiogheny River in South Connellsville. The train is made up of B&O 9061, PESX 5045, PC 18086, and P&LE 504. The passenger car was leased from the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad in the summer. It was built June 1, 1923 by Canadian Car & Foundry for Canadian National Railway. It has a capacity of 80 passengers. The train does not go any further forward than this because it would be entering CSX tracks. From here it shoves backwards towards Dunbar and Uniontown. |

Some passengers go for a ride on this caboose which is now owned by the Fayette Central Railroad. Built for the New York Central in April 1942. Today they were doing runs every hour between Wheeler and Dunbar, Pa. They don't bring this one out too much so I was glad to get another photo of it. |
